The Application Process
Moorestown Friends School seeks students for their ability to excel in a demanding, college-preparatory program and to contribute positively to the school community. We welcome candidates of all races, cultures, and religions.
MFS enrollment expands at sixth grade, when classes grow from approximately 36 to 54 and at ninth grade when classes grow from approximately 54 to 72.
We strongly recommend that you apply for admission between September 1 and February 1 for admission in the following year. The Admissions Committee reviews all applications that have been completed by March 1, and decision letters for Prekindergarten through grade 12 are sent out in the middle of March. Preschool playgroups typically do not begin until March, so those decision letters do not go out until the beginning of April. After March 1, we will still accept applications should we have available space in a particular grade or if you would consider the waiting list.
The MFS Admissions Application Checklist
In order for an applicant's file to be brought before the Admissions Committee for consideration, the following steps must be completed:

- For students applying for grades 5-12, submit the Student Questionnaire and a recent, graded writing sample.
