MFS News April 18, 2008 10TH ANNUAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING EXPO - APRIL 22
MFS students will participate in the school’s tenth annual Science and Engineering Exposition (SEE) on Tuesday, April 22, in the school’s gyms. Science teachers will be present in the gyms throughout the day to answer questions and point out "must SEE" work. Some "must SEE" projects include computerized face averaging, a hovercraft, our champion robotics team's robots, award-winning epidemiology and music projects, alternative energy models, "walking" sculptures from tenth grade Intensive Learning, and journal articles describing original research projects. This year the theme is Science for the Young Scientists. SEEscorts (US students) will accompany LS students to the gyms to participate in science demos designed and hosted by US science students (imagine a carnival of science activities). Assemblies featuring reptiles from the Philadelphia Zoo on Wheel for Middle and Upper School students.
