Moorestown Friends School senior Jennielle Jobson of Winslow has been awarded a $2500 National Achievement Scholarship based on her outstanding scores on the PSAT. The National Achievement Scholarship Program recognizes outstanding African-American high school students. Of the 140,000 students in the country who enter the National Achievement competition, the top 1,600 are honored as Semifinalists. About 800 scholarships are eventually awarded to Finalists. The National Achievement Scholarship Program is conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Jennielle will attend the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.
