photoHelen is representative of the many grandparents and parents of alumni who continue to support the school. Now living at The Evergreens in Moorestown, Helen and her late husband Newlin sent their two children to MFS. Janet and her husband Peter’s children have joined the family tradition at the school. Janet serves as a member of the school’s Development Committee.

“I am grateful to MFS for the excellent education given to the students. I am very impressed with the Quaker philosophy on moral issues. MFS is a philanthropic priority because my grandchildren are attending the school and I want to support the mission of quality education. MFS is a place that provides an opportunity for students to develop their full potential educationally, socially, and morally.

– Helen Stevens, Grandparent

“I am grateful for the great teachers I had as a student at MFS and my husband and I are grateful for the continuing tradition of excellent teachers and learning experiences for our children. Intensive Learning was a valuable experience for me personally and my daughter Morgan will never forget her Nicaragua Intensive Learning trip.

“I see MFS continually improving and pushing itself toward excellence. The growth of the school in the last 30 years has been amazing. The faculty and staff, the educational programs (the arts are incredible!), and the facility keep getting better. Getting better requires support from alumni and parents and for that reason, MFS is a philanthropic priority for us.

“I have wonderful friends from MFS and great memories. I had an excellent education with teachers I will never forget. MFS is a community and it doesn’t matter when you graduated, you are always welcome back.”
