Support MFS
|
I give to MFS because... Mark Mitchell '86 – Washington, DC
Mark Mitchell first joined the MFS community as a Camden Scholar in the ninth grade. Today he serves on the MFS Board of Trustees. A graduate of Northwestern University, he is Vice President for Financial Services of the National Association of Independent Schools in Washington, D.C., where he is an expert in the area of financial aid. “As a Camden Scholar, I benefitted from the generosity of others
to help pay most, if not all, of my MFS tuition. Without that generosity,
the spirit of intellectual curiosity, the respect for the light of God
within everyone, and the embrace of collaborative engagement to do the
right thing may not have blossomed within me as they have. Those values
and attitudes guide my philanthropic urge to give back that with which
I was blessed and those values steer my professional motivation to ensure
that as many schools as possible do for their students what MFS did for
me.” – Mark Mitchell ’86
