Support MFS
|
We give to MFS because... Bonnie Greenfield Reagan '64 and Peter Reagan '64 –Portland, OR
Peter and Bonnie Reagan are among the many married couples who met at MFS! Recently back east for their class’ well-attended 45th reunion, they both are family physicians. Peter was an undergrad at Haverford and Bonnie at Bryn Mawr College. Later they each earned an M.A.T. from Reed College, and an M.D. from Oregon Health Sciences University. Peter, an “original” at MFS, is the nephew of former Headmaster Chester Reagan. Peter’s present day hobbies of adventure travel, mountain climbing and paragliding all were foreshadowed at MFS, where he was an exchange student through the Affiliation Program with Nuremberg, Germany and involved in the outdoors. At Friends, Bonnie was a four-year class officer, member of the glee club, the orchestra and chair of the Religious Life Committee. Both Peter and Bonnie were members of the Cum Laude Society. "My MFS education gave me the strength
to struggle against the aggression and inequities of our policies,
often in opposition to the dominant culture." – Peter Reagan '64 "We love to support MFS because through the decades it keeps promoting the educational goal we most fervently believe in: encouraging the richness of multicultural collaboration on a common, more peaceful future. “The international friends we've made
through the student exchange program have endured to this day and even
to our children's generation.” – Peter Regan '64 and Bonnie Greenfield Reagan '64
